An improvisational performance of poetry underlaid with musical harmony, these artists riff off each other's rhythm to create synergy of complementary art forms.
The Concrete Closed Sessions provide a platform for local artists to ‘test drive’ new performance work with an intimate audience. Riffing off the tradition of musicians gathering informally to improvise and experiment, these sessions will spotlight works from multiple horizons—diverse styles of music, spoken word, dance, performance in all its guises. Like its host alserkal.online, the Concrete Closed Sessions constitute a space for creative ideas to be explored, expanded, and shared.
