20 June, 2017: Alserkal Avenue will reinvent the 19th-century salon with Literaturhaus at Nadi, a celebration of literature taking place from 1 July - 30 September in Nadi Al Quoz. Literaturhaus at Nadi sets out to reinvent and revive the 19th-century salon, where contemporary questions were debated alongside an array of literary, artistic and cultural initiatives, inspiring audiences with new perspectives. From July until the end of September, international and regional authors, poets, critics, curators, publishers, translators, and musicians will gather in Nadi Al Quoz to share their ideas through readings, discussions and performances. The programme will cover all aspects of contemporary culture and become a forum to spark thoughtful exchange.
