The Sky Held it, the Earth Remembered

Ishara Art Foundation presents ‘The sky held it, the earth remembered’, a group exhibition that brings together the practices of Rohini Devasher, Sarker Protick and Shahana Rajani to examine how land, water and the cosmos serve as living archives of memory and history. Through photography, moving image and installation, the exhibition proposes that the environment bears material traces of ecological change, preserving them across deep time. Works featured include Rohini Devasher’s ‘Latent Fields’ (2023), Sarker Protick’s ‘Dhaka 1217’ (2011–26), and Shahana Rajani’s ‘Lines that World a River’ (2026).
