Jazz Diwan is an experimental jazz quartet founded by Assistant Professor of Music Ghazi Al-Mulaifi, PhD (NYU Abu Dhabi). At its core Jazz Diwan is inspired by the spiritual jazz traditions of the 1960s. Al-Mulaifi is joined by Jesse Boere (keys), Claude Cozens (Drums), and Aaron Marcus-Willers (Bass guitar). Jazz Diwan performs original repertoire and selections of modal jazz classics.
