Line As Witness | Yusuf

It is never merely a mark but a way of thinking, a measure of time and a means of making space visible. Between one line and the next, an interval emerges, neither mark nor emptiness, where his work begins to breathe. Across painting, drawing, thread and sculpture, he pursues this idea with remarkable persistence. In his textile works, lines are woven, layered and accumulated into dense, tactile surfaces that appear ordered and still, yet gradually reveal a subtle inner movement.
