In this powerful and emotional play, a grieving mother and an overwhelmed primary school teacher find themselves locked in a fraught conversation during a parent/teacher conference. The subject of their discussion is the tragic suicide of the mother’s son, Gidion.

As they attempt to piece together Gidion’s story, questions arise: Was he a victim of severe bullying, or was he an abuser himself? Slowly, the layers of Gidion’s life are uncovered, and both women are forced to confront feelings of guilt, blame, and the roles that both the school system and parents play in shaping children’s lives.
