Elsewhere, Within | By Reynier Llanes

Firetti Contemporary is pleased to present Elsewhere, Within, a solo exhibition by Cuban-born artist Reynier Llanes, on view from 16 November 2026 to 16 January 2027. The exhibition marks Llanes’ return to Firetti Contemporary following Reverie, his first solo exhibition in the Middle East, presented by the gallery in 2025. Centred on works from the artist’s Poet series, Reverie introduced regional audiences to Llanes’ distinctive visual language: a world of translucent figures, dreamlike landscapes and poetic narratives through which the artist explores the complexities of human experience. Elsewhere, Within expands this conversation, bringing together three distinct yet interconnected bodies of work: The Tourist, The Poet and Llanes’ newly introduced Bodega series, alongside sculpture. Moving between outer and inner worlds, the lived and imagined, the exhibition considers how encounters with places, people and experiences continually shape who we become and what we carry forward.
