Dissuader: Art and Design by Franco Perrotti

Dissuader: Art and Design, curated by Baronessa Factory and supported by the Italian Cultural Institute of Abu Dhabi and presented by Gieffe Group, presents the unique work of Italian designer and artist Franco Perrotti. Central to the exhibition is Dissuader, a monumental allegorical pigeon sculpted from birch wood and steel nails, symbolising the complex dynamics between humans and their environment, along with smaller reinterpretations crafted from various materials. The exhibition includes 25 pieces including reinterpretations in different sizes made with a variety of materials, and video projections created by photographers and filmmakers Bruna Rotunno, Ernani Paterra, and Enrico Di Nenno, interpreting the creative act behind Perrotti’s work.
