Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and friendly Event Venue Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our event space. The ideal candidate will have a strong hospitality background and a passion for providing exceptional service. This role involves direct client interaction, ensuring the venue is clean and welcoming, managing inventory, and assisting with refreshments during events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during events, ensuring their needs are met and providing excellent customer service.
  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other refreshments to clients and guests, maintaining a high standard of hospitality.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct thorough inventory checks before and after each event to ensure all items are accounted for and report any discrepancies.
  • Venue Maintenance: Ensure the event space is clean, organized, and ready for client use at all times. This includes setting up and breaking down event spaces as needed.
  • Assistance During Events: Provide on-site support to clients during events, addressing any needs or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients post-event to continuously improve service and address any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or event management is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritize work, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations with a calm and proactive approach.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, based on event schedules.
