We are looking for a dynamic Digital Marketing Assistant Manager to join Alserkal Initiatives. You will work closely with our team to shape and execute digital strategy, driving campaigns across our website, editorial, newsletters, and social media, with the aim of strengthening the Alserkal brand and expanding our audiences. The ideal candidate will have strong digital marketing skills, a sharp eye for detail, a flair for creative copywriting, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A passion for art and culture, along with a commitment to growing with the Alserkal team, is essential. This full-time role reports directly to the Digital Marketing Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Build and expand Alserkal’s digital communications, contributing to audience growth through effective content and campaign management across the website, newsletters, and social media channels, knowing how each digital marketing campaign supports their overarching goals.

  • Set marketing campaigns and create marketing calendars in alignment with the Digital Marketing Manager, aligning key messages and marketing strategies, and social media plans, while managing budgets, as well as ensuring all digital marketing efforts, both online and offline, are delivered on time and meet deadlines.

  • Ensure that marketing content is created, shared, and updated on relevant channels in an effective and timely manner.

  • Monitor paid digital advertising campaigns, including paid social media and Google Ads, content on review sites, Google Business, and other touchpoints.

  • Prepare holistic marketing reports, delivering learning and insights to both internal and external stakeholders on a weekly and monthly basis as required.

  • Liaise with freelancers, community members, partners, and agencies as required for digital marketing initiatives.

  • Coordinate with the Brand & Design team to ensure that Alserkal Initiatives’ digital channels are on-brand, continually updated, and successfully growing following and engagement.

  • Lead internal communications as needed, working closely with the marketing team and wider business units.

  • Provide copywriting support, UX knowledge and best practice to create engaging content adhering to inbound and SEO best practices including scripts/briefing for ad campaign, emails, landing pages and social media assets. Regularly collaborate with internal teams to plan and create content for monthly/quarterly campaigns.

Knowledge & Education

  • 4-6 years of Marketing and CRM experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Familiar with website technology, content management systems, SEO best practices and Google Analytics

  • Experience with CRMs and Email Marketing

  • Educated to a Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent, with relevant professional qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or a related field.

  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

  • Excellent writing, copywriting, and copy editing skills, with the ability to independently craft messages across a range of topics, and across both commercial and non-profit requirements

  • Strong ability to find and utilise creative and innovative solutions in appropriate ways

  • Confident and decisive with focus on desired results

  • A passion to grow in the art, design, and culture industry


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and overtime may be required during peak periods and/or for special projects and events.
