Alserkal Arts Foundation
A playwriting workshop for writers, artists and performers; untethering architects of the page and stage.
In the first of a series of workshops, playwright and artist Rebecca Crookshank sheds light on the craft of character development by inviting participants to step into a dynamic series of constructed scenarios unraveled over an evening.
Rooted in the celebration of kinship and mythologies from our everyday lives, the collective, participatory session guides us to question how we make live work for performance and how relationships take manifest through dynamic creative exchange.
Note: For the workshop, we invite you to bring along a myth or a secret - in the form of a note, a thought, or object - that offers an anchor for your identity.
