6:30PM | Join Rania Jishi and Haya Bishouty as they reflect and share stories on traditional, community-driven home cooking rituals.

Rania Jishi graduated with a BA in Studio Art, School of Visual Communications at the American University in Dubai. a graduate from the Salama Emerging Artist Fellowship & Campus Art Dubai Alumni. Rania also worked as the Adults Program Specialist at the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi and is currently working in her home-based studio producing a new body work using pottery and illustration. Jishi is a multidisciplinary artist and a stay at home mom; specializing in illustration, she is currently focused on experimenting with pottery. Jishi is also the founder of NAQD Critique est 2017, artist-run critique sessions organized across the UAE, Founder of Forsa and co-founder of Forsa School. Her teaching and education experience include working with DCT, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah Art Foundation, The Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, Art Dubai, NYUAD and other organizations in the UAE.

Haya Bishouty founded Haya's Kitchen - an experience-based concept that's a tribute to Palestine, Tetas and Traditions. Haya runs sufra dinners to bring people together around a communal table, workshops to preserve the ancestral traditions and skills, and pop ups to spread the love for street food.
