Cinema Akil
Cinema Akil will be celebrating anniversaries, music and freedom with the wackiest characters from THE GODFATHER, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, PULP FICTION, DO THE RIGHT THING and PIERROT LE FOU.
Cinema Akil's Summer of Classics is back from 24 June-15 September.
Celebrating anniversaries, music, freedom and wacky characters: from Francis Ford Coppola's THE GODFATHER (50th Anniversary edition - 1972), to family's favorite musical THE SOUND OF MUSIC (1965); from Quentin Tarantino's hitmen in PULP FICTION (1994) to the streets of Brooklyn and its long-simmering racial tensions in DO THE RIGHT THING (Spike Lee, 1989), and still consistently looking for a different present like Jean-Paul Belmondo in JL Godard's PIERROT LE FOU (1965).
