The aim is to de-intimidate art by making it about material and feeling over meaning and to focus on a few works rather than a take-it-all-in approach. The tours can be organised around specific thematics; for example In 2021, they were organised around the themes of representation and moving.

Asavari was born and raised in the UAE and moved to New York for a Bsc. in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is currently the Press and Coordinator at Ishara Art Foundation in Dubai. Prior to joining Ishara, Asavari has worked at Art Dubai and with several luxury fashion and beauty brands in the region including Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, NET-A-PORTER, ETRO, Laura Mercier and BYREDO.

The Slow Art Walk will begin at The Yard.
