Slow Art Walk in Malayalam

Aligned with ‘alternative ways of being’ and mindfulness, Slow Art Walks invite visitors to take the time to slow down and reflect, not to rush to unpack or understand. For three nights this Ramadan, we will be joined by critical voices from the arts—both emerging and established—to welcome you to spend an evening with artworks in the Avenue.

Albert Kolambel is an interior designer born in Kerala, and raised in Dubai. Working closely with local fabricators in his early career, Albert developed a keen interest in the fabrication process of design, and sought a role in the arts in which to develop his concepts. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (BID) from the American University of Sharjah, he worked on specialised retail and residential projects in the region. He then moved on to designing for the arts, and worked for the 2018 edition of Art Dubai. Since 2018, Albert has worked at the Jameel Arts Centre, as part of the exhibitions team, designing and producing major solo and touring shows.
