Aligned with ‘alternative ways of being’ and mindfulness, Slow Art Walks invite visitors to take the time to slow down and reflect, not to rush to unpack or understand. For three nights this Ramadan, we will be joined by critical voices from the arts—both emerging and established—to welcome you to spend an evening with artworks in the Avenue.

On 5 April, Nikoo Ghiasvand will be leading the Slow Art Walk in Farsi. Nikoo is currently the commissions Manager at Alserkal Avenue, leading the external commissions of Dubai Public Art and the Global Cultural District Network (GCDN). She has +10 years of experience in project and team management in visual art and design.

Nikoo was the Associate Director of Meem Gallery from 2022- 23. Previous to Meem, she served as Gallery Manager at The Third Line art gallery (Dubai) where she co-lead the development of 20 exhibitions, participation in 17 international and regional art fairs.
