Reading Pictures / Inhabiting Images

Inhabiting Images is a series of gatherings with and around images. Taking a single image as a site of assembly, each session excavates the sprawling network of meanings, processes and infrastructures that go into the production of and encounter with images in the contemporary moment.

Led by Sabih Ahmed, the programme invites participants into an open discussion on selected artworks from Ishara Art Foundation’s ongoing exhibition ‘Growing Like A Tree’ curated by Sohrab Hura.

Inhabiting Images is organised by Ishara Art Foundation in collaboration with Gulf Photo Plus.
