Faris Shomali is a researcher and art archivist. His work explores visual arts in and of Palestine. He has previously worked as a digitization manager at the Palestinian Museum Digital Archive project. Currently, he is a PhD student at the Department of Anthropology at the University of Toronto. His doctoral research investigates the social life of Palestine’s art. Exploring the biographies of artworks, his research offers an examination of art and politics that moves beyond the political connotations of art toward an examination of the politics of circulation.
Reema Salha Fadda is a writer, editor and academic whose work engages with the political economy of artistic production, focusing mainly on Palestine and the broader region. Her writing has been commissioned by leading international publications and she has programmed cultural events across historic Palestine, Cairo, Amman and London.
Reem Farah is a writer and researcher with experiential insight into cultural institutions and non-governmental organizations. She completed her masters’ degree in Migration Studies from SOAS, University of London and navigates the world with a keen anthropological eye. Relevant publications include 'The Responsibility to Palestinian Tatreez' for Third Text Journal and 'The Global Division of Labor and Mobility in the Humanitarian Industry' for The Journal of Migration and Society.
