The Yard
Tanaghom, featuring Hanan Halwany, Anas Ali Mortada, and Sandu, breaks musical conventions with a bold fusion of Arabic Buzuq traditions and Indian rhythms, layered with keyboard melodies, piano chords, and deep bass undertones.
Driven by a passion for innovation, the musicians seek to create a new sound—one that honours cultural roots while pushing the boundaries of fusion music. For them, blending musical traditions is more than an artistic endeavor; it is a celebration of harmony, unity, and peace.
Their repertoire is anchored in Hanan’s original compositions, reimagining tradition while weaving in select pieces of Arabic music with a fresh, boundary-defying approach.
