16 - 21 March 2015 | Hazem Harb | Untitled

The development and expansion of Alserkal Avenue was explored by a site-specific installation that blended video with sculptures made of found objects from the former construction site. A follow-up to the artist’s presentation in 2014 of large-scale photographs set amidst the frames of the future warehouses, this work reflected on the people and industry that built the site, a memory of activity refracted through the abstracting lens of its architecture. Commissioned by Alserkal Avenue.
