World Water Day has been celebrated annually on 22 March since 1993. World Water Day celebrates water and raises awareness of the 2.2 billion people around the world that lack access to safe water, and about taking action to tackle the global water crisis.

Leveraging Water for Peace is the theme of World Water Day 2024. It highlights the role water plays in global stability and prosperity of the world.

WAYOUT will host two factory visits at World Water Day to its groundbreaking Micro-factory at Alserkal Avenue. Come and explore how drinking water can be made in a sustainable way.

The tour of WAYOUT’s Micro-Factory will start at 10 AM and 2 PM at Alserkal Avenue, Friday 22 March.

Brave Blue Word: Racing to Solve Our Water Crisis
Film screening of the renowned documentary Brave Blue World: Racing to Solve Our Water Crisis (2020) with Liam Neeson, Matt Damon and Jaden Smith. This documentary explores new innovations, energy generation and reuse across five different continents. It showcases an optimistic picture of how humans adopt new technologies towards building a future with sustainable water.

The documentary will be playing every hour on a large screen in WAYOUT’s showroom at Alserkal Avenue from 11 AM to 2 PM, Friday 22 March.10+, 50 min
