Learn more about Nida Sumar's study of fermented foods as she takes participants through the step-by-step process behind making the perfect kombucha brew. Nida is a trained chef, who graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and Rouxbe - but has been pursuing her passion for cooking since she was 11 and has been fermenting foods for the last 7 years.

Founded in 2018 by Nida Sumar, The Table Project was one the earliest supper clubs of its kind in the UAE. It made its way from being a delicious idea to a tasty reality. The project is focused on creating a community of food lovers through a series of intimate yet experimental secret dinners and workshops with strangers. The goal is to open up a world of slow-cooked food that is soaked in tradition and heritage, closely pertaining to Pakistani, Memoni, Burmese, and Emirati cuisines.

Nida uses age-old techniques and takes the guests on a delicious journey through story-telling and unparalleled hospitality. Today The Table Project has hosted over 13,000 people at its supper club events from over 128 nationalities. The Table Project was one of the first few underground supper club concepts in UAE and its success has been highlighted in all media formats, radio, television, and news publications.
