electriclimefilms° will showcase still images from iconic commercial films throughout history, accompanied by plot descriptions. They will also present some beautiful archive footage of vintage Emirati commercials. The final activation will be a physical installation recreating a nostalgic living room scene from an old Middle Eastern household, with a TV playing a collection of iconic Arabic commercials. The common theme among all activations is the celebration of commercial film and the presentation of it in a traditional artistic medium.
