Part of Stay a Little Longer
Join Zoe Patterson on a walk around the Avenue, learning about food writing and sampling food along the way.
Food writing allows us to consider culture, history, and the comforts and definitions of home. Consider what leaves you feeling "full" in this discussion and writing workshop with Zoe Patterson: UAE-based journalist and co-Editor of Postscript Magazine. The workshop will start with a discussion of what makes food writing great, followed by sampling food from some of the best food stalls in Alserkal for Ramadan Nights. Participants will respond to writing prompts to unlock creativity and go beyond the surface of what food writing means.
