Comics Through Light is a workshop that explores storytelling and comic-making fundamentals, introducing an unexpected twist through photography darkroom techniques.

Participants will learn the basics of visual storytelling—where drawing skills aren’t required, but the ability to render a stick figure in all its glorious simplicity is. They will then bring their comics to life by printing them on photographic paper in the darkrooms of Analog The Room.

By the end of the workshop, each participant will walk away with a unique, hand-printed comic—and a skill they can use again and again.

This is a three-part workshop, and participants are kindly requested to register for all three sessions.

Made possible with support from Analog The Room.
