Photography is originally an organic process. Using pretreated cyanotype paper, children will learn about the fundamentals of chemistry – the interactions of light and water to produce a sharp image.

After composing their print using the cast shadows of food objects, all participants will expose their work to the sun for no more than 2 minutes, letting the image slowly burn into the paper. Then, after a brief rinse in water, you will get your very own cyanotype print.
