Ishara Art Foundation is a non-profit organisation focused on contemporary art from South Asia, which includes the diaspora and overlapping histories of the region around India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.

Founded by art patron and collector Smita Prabhakar in 2019, the Ishara Art Foundation represents her contribution to culture and art in the UAE.

Its programme is anchored in a regional approach, designed to share compelling artistic perspectives with local and international audiences.
