Isabelle van den Eynde launched her eponymous space in Alserkal Avenue in 2010, representing a roster of artists from the Middle East and North Africa. Gallery Isabelle van den Eynde collaborates closely with its artists though exhibitions, book publishing, and international art fair participation to create insightful, and often provocative presentations that challenge the conventions and ideologies related to the notion of art display and exhibition making. Artists in the gallery's roster include Rokni Haerizadeh, Ramin Haerizadeh, Hesam Rahmanian, Mohammed Kazem, :MENTALKLINIK, Manal Al Dowayan, and the late Hassan Sharif.
From May 2022, Gallery IVDE will pause its exhibitions for a one-year period. Their offices remain open, and the gallery staff – sales, registrar and press teams will continue to respond to all enquiries.
Meanwhile, ‘Fabien Fryns Fine Art’ takes over Warehouse 17 with the premiere show Facial Recognition for the duration of the exhibition.
