Every year, Alserkal Arts Foundation marks Alserkal Art Week with a public art commission - this March, we share Tania Ursomarzo’s preparatory process for a commission opening in the fall—Study for An Incision. Working iteratively, this allows the public to engage with her spatial research on the movement of light, air and shadow as she traces the path of the sun across the Yard. The Foundation also presents the Alserkal Residency Spring Cycle residents’ expanded Open Studio, Still Lives in Warehouse 13 as part of Galleries Night along with lecture performances during the week.
To welcome you in the best possible conditions for socialising and enjoying our offerings, Alserkal Avenue kindly requires you to wear masks and respect social distancing in all venues at all times.
